Counselling and psychotherapy are processes that help people examine the issues that have led them to seek help. As a therapist I listen to you and encourage you to talk about what is troubling you. My aim is to help you understand your problems, explore options and assist you in reaching your own decisions about how to handle your concerns. I do not provide you with the answers or tell you what to do. You may feel that you need to have a few sessions before you experience a change. However many people find it ultimately beneficial and find that they have explored aspects of themselves that have previously gone unchallenged.
